Another Avenue

I am glad Obama reversed the stem cell ban. Now we will see lots of exciting cures for many different disorders. Of course it's up to the person if they want to be treated or are happy being the way they are. If hear again is happy(or at least doesn't mind) being blind, that is her choice. Others are desperate to see again and they will get the chance to.
 
Yes. They have been claiming that there's gonna be a cure for years and years.
Stem cells are more like " anything is possible, but nothing is promised"
Nobody knows if stem cells will cure anything.
Besides I think they should concentrate on mental stuff first like mental illness or mental retardation or Aliezhiemers.

I completely respect the choice of others who wish to be able to see or hear again. I chose the latter by receiving CIs. Each person has a right to make that decision for themselves.
