Hi,
A free phone app for android phones showing Sign Language Alphabet created by a new young developer. He would appreciate you trying & rating it. You could advise on what improvements you'd like to see.

Descprition:
This app shows you the hand signs used in the sign language alphabet.
Tap a letter and you will see how to sign that letter.
Type in a word and you will be shown how to spell that word in sign.
The app is free and has no adds.

Is the person who wrote this someone who knows Irish sign language? The way it's described doesn't seem like it's someone who is familiar with sign language. Ads is misspelled as adds. Also, I don't see how this is that useful. Once you learn the hand shapes, it's easier and faster to actually spell it out with your hands than it is to show someone the pictures. If you're using this to learn the fingerspelling, I don't see how looking at the handshapes spelling a word is any more useful than looking at the individual handshapes. It's not like signs are being used and it's showing grammar.
 
I don't see the ability to enter any letters with diacriticals. I know German fingerspelling includes handshapes for their diacriticals (umlauts) as well as shapes for the eset, "sch" and some other common letter combinations. Surely Gaelic speakers would need to use á, é, í, ó, and ú in order to fingerspell in their language? Or perhaps Irish fingerspelling can only be used to fingerspell in English?
