Yep and you don't really have to root a phone to get many of those programs. Some will have to but avialable on the android market.

Whoa, there is no need to bump constantly, G-Tree. I am in the looks of seeing if there is an option for me to build a mobile web version for andriod user's...:hmm:

Virgin Mobile is selling Samsung Intercept with Android OS for $250 and unlimited data/text is $25 per month.

How's cheap!

Virgin Mobile uses Sprint coverage.

Android 2.3 (gingerbread) is due to be out not far from now. I wish the mobile companies and phone makers dont delay too much on the os versions as they all vary phones to phones.

I am thinking to buy an Android. HTC EVO's LCD too big for me. EPIC is nice but no physical keyboard need. I hope there is new mobile come with small LCD and dual cameras then I will buy it.

Who cares about support? I never use any of carrier support, except for network issue and Virgin Mobile USA is owned by Sprint.

Ohhh i got it now. Im not sure about that. Android can view websites similar to iphones can except there is no web apps for that. Maybe you can build a mobile web version for mobile phones.

Do you have 20/10 vision?

It's more like Highlander don't want to have big device to put in his pocket. It's annoying.

Uh, it's not big device. You don't wanna carry an ipad or Samsung Tab in ur pocket anyhow.

Highlander wants something bigger than my phone. If you want smaller get motorola flipout. It has android 2.1 and its a bit slower proceasor tho. Its fine for basic uses.

My pros for my android based galaxy s.

Fast, lots of memory and has potiential for future updates. Vivid screen, well built.

Cons: delayed android upgrades and offical gps fix ignored for a long time. Some bugs and lack of video codec support in built in video player. Windows only platform for firmware updates.
