Aloha to everyone! I am new person and introduce myself to you. I am also deaf person. You like to view Hawaii's famous new style photo www.alohafriends.com Shaka means hello,how are you,good bye,good,groovy,delicious it depends what you are saying by body language for "shaka". My name is Ronald Decker I know several of deaf people who are also AD members...... ok Shaka!

Welcome to AD, DreamyHawaii! Your last name is Decker. Wondering if you are related to deaf Decker family from California? I used to be room mate of a Miss Decker at Gallaudet many years ago.
 
Aloha and welcome to Alldeaf DreamyHawaii! Been to the beautiful island of Maui back in '96 and it is gorgeous and beautiful, surely, one day will definitely make a return trip back to that island! I was told shaka was spelled 'chaka' and it also means, 'hang loose Hawaii' while I was on the island. Anyhow, enjoy your stay here in AD!! ;) Mahalo!

yea i lived there on big hawaii island last yr and moved here.. i already love there.. i think abt take my gf and i go there and stay there 1 week vacation next yr..

i once was in Hawaii (Waikiki Beach) wayyy back in 1986 when i was 16 and LOVED my visit in Hawaii! :D
