Curious, how many of you actually use AllDeaf mobile?
How many of you use AllDeaf mobile to post?

I notice a lot of comments that people here say they check AllDeaf on their mobile but I rarely see the "Wirelessly posted" text.

What do you like or not like about AllDeaf mobile? Do you have any questions, suggestions or ideas about it?

When I was using it for a few days, "Wirelessly posted" never showed up on my posts.

But, honestly, I didn't like iit. I went back to the old way. I would love to see an app for this.

What bugged you about it? Was it the layout or something else?

I did notice one bug was that the page will load with an error if there is a broken [ /QUOTE] or [/QUOTE] in a topic. I've been trying to manually fix and edit these recent posts for you guys who were reading on mobile.

I'm thinking about how Alex would improve it the next time he gives a shot at it.
There are some great forum posting/reading apps out there, but I remember there are some problems with them like they can cause viruses or trojans to get in. Yuck :|

1) I have to log in every time. I don't when I go on my laptop because it "remembers me", same as the "regular" way on my phone (not Mobile).

2) The "New Posts" that I always click on off my laptop is not the same as "Recent Posts" on the Mobile.

Those are probably the 2 biggest things that bugged me. When I surf AD off my phone the non-mobile way, it is the same as on my laptop. I really use the "New Posts" option all the time.

Sorry, don't mean to be critical. It just means I prefer the "regular" way rather than the Mobile version.

It sucks to load each post if it's a long one. I've cursed (totally jokingly) people who use the quote feature.

Voted "Yes, I use AD mobile".

I like to use mobile AD for anytime. But, sometimes, I don't like to click a link that leads me to original AD view, not mobile AD view. I would have to click "Back" and search for the mobile link for what someone shows. (See here: http://www.alldeaf.com/introduce-yourself/80775-newbies-quick-faqs.html ) It would be easier if I click the original AD link that takes me to AD mobile view. But, I am not sure if it is possible to resolve it. :dunno:

Yes I use the mobile version of AD, not too bad but not much support compared to the desktop version. That's normal anyway. It's good for reading posts or posting simple posts, etc. You can't view videos but can view pictures.

I finally got the chance to use AllDeaf.com mobile and I really like it!

My only problems with it are: the really long posts i have to scroll thru the 1 post and have to use the previous page button until i get to the beginning of that post again before i can read the next post, and i can't find the "like" button...

other than that i'm happy with it :D

My phone brings up the normal format with no plm. But the mobile version is just too simple. Probably would be helpful on my older phone but don't need it so don't use it. Like amazon.com has mobile version which I don't like either. So its not just ad.:hmm:

Don't have a phone I can use for it, so I don't use it. Hate my cell phone as it is. Thinking about going "cell-less".

No I've never used AD mobile. I would be interested in trying it out. Can anyone give me some tips on how to get AD mobile? :ty:

Just click on the link in the top right corner. Pretty much right above the "welcome, alleycat!" or for you your username.
