I'm looking for as many resources as I can find on Cochlear Implants, especially personal blogs of those who have been implanted.

I'm familiar with Ms. Kat's blog and Contradica's blog.

However, what about the others? Any and all sorts of links for the CI blogs out there are welcome. :) :cool2:
 
I should note that I've been researching CIs for approximately six months now, so I'm aware of many of the basics (surgery, what mappings are, the various brands and their strengths/weaknesses). What I'm looking for are the personal stories of those that have been implanted and what life has been like for those since the implantation happened. :)
 
You can take a look at my blog. I've only just been implanted and am waiting for the switch on. Once switched on - I plan to update the blog with entries of sounds heard and those not liked etc...

You can look at people's blogroll and click on it and add to favorite or copy/paste link to microsoft word and keep clicking on other blogger's blogroll then other blogger you clicked's blogroll until you see same blogger on blogroll all you've found then you're set, also go to Deaf Village its website that show many different people blog and its mostly CI/HA blogger so check it out and add to favorite

Feel free to read my thread that documents my entire CI experience, everything is in that thread. I haven't bothered with a CI blog because I already have a personal blog of my own and it is private and I find it to be a pain in the ass to keep up with two blogs. So I created the thread instead, it is in the first link in my signature.
