Alaska Senator (Republican) is convicted of corruption in government. I read that Sarah Palin "pals" with corrupters!

Here's proof that she does pal with corrupters!

But it doesn't make her corrupt.

As for the Senator, I guess he gets what he deserves.

If Palin didnt know that he was corrupt, then how is she at fault?

I dont support her views or anything but gotta be fair here. If she was aware of it and didnt report it, then she was wrong as well.

Yeah. It's not her fault. He started it himself not Sarah. Why AD'ers are obsessive about Sarah?

The entire point is that Sarah Palin has been playing the inflammatory "guilt by association" rhetoric saying that Obama is linked to Ayers because they were both on the same education board as if Obama has to do with the bombings and killings... never mind that Obama was only 8 when Ayers did terrorist bombings!

If you think it's so silly for me to associate Palin to a corrupted senator, you got that right. It's a rhetoric to mock people who fall for Palin's looney guilt by association speech.

Yes I second that.

If McCain call Stevens to step down then he should do the same to Palin due her Troopergate case scandal, why can't he?

Do McCain remember what and how he was being involved in Keating 5 scandal, don't he?

When it comes to Election Day, it's all about rumors, games, insults, and so forth to confused people's decisions who to vote. Some people will stay to chose who they want to vote by ignorin' all this negative comments. Some stay neutral without votin'.

But, be careful who to vote, because once you vote - you can't change it back if you learn who is elected, the one that you don't want to be a president ..... don't make yourself in trouble other wise you will pay your own consequences. :cool2:

My biggest concern is that what's goin' to happen once a candidate is elected to become a president......... :ugh3:

Look like your negative doesn't help affect on Alaska because the tracker poll show 55% for McCain and 37% for Obama. hahaha

...and Obama ended up winning the election after all. :D

Also, apparently the conviction of Ted Stevens had no negative affect on his election to the Senate of Alaska. I have to admit, I was surprised by this because I honestly thought he'd end up losing the election.

Yep, I know the state of Alaska voted for McCain. I can't say I'm surprised by that, but I *am* surprised they elected Ted Stevens.

Then it must be because Stevens' opposite campaign doesn't meet toward the Alaska residents.

Justice Department Files Motion to Drop Case Against Former Alaska Sen. Ted Stevens - Presidential Politics | Political News - FOXNews.com

The U.S. Justice Department filed a motion Wednesday to drop its case against former Alaska Sen. Ted Stevens, who was convicted of seven felony counts of corruption last fall.

Attorney General Eric Holder decided to abandon the case due to prosecutorial misconduct -- one Justice Department source called the stunning turnaround a "black eye" on the department and the FBI.

"The misconduct of government prosecutors, and one or more FBI agents, was stunning. Not only did the government fail to disclose evidence of innocence, but instead intentionally hid that evidence and created false evidence that they provided to the defense," said attorneys Brendan V. Sullivan Jr. and Robert M. Cary.

Wow. What a way to ruin Stevens' political career.
