Acrobats fall during Ringling Bros. circus stunt

That is awfully scary. I went to the circus many times. I can see that some of those stuff what they work on, that are not safe.
 
The acrobats are responsible for their own rigs , thy have to made sure everything is safe to use. So does this mean the owner of the circus is off the hook in any lawsuits? I heard one woman was very badly hurt . :(

I just saw on the news there was only clamp used to hold the rig up. :shock:

Last the reporter said it was acrobats job to inspection their rig and tonight the reporter showed the owner saying they check everything then how the hell did thy think one clamp was enough to hold up all the women ??

you should know by now that reporters/news are notorious for reporting inaccurate facts.

it's a steel carabiner that failed.

Some guy on TV was calling it a clamp so that is what I was going by.
I think it was a fireman ?

I notice it was young girls from disadvantaged countries. Too dangerous for anybody with a better alternative.

The girls families been doing this for generations , it's all they know how to do . This make me not want to go to a circus even more . The last time I went was when my daughter and mother wanted to go and I was out numbered in votes. This was about 32 years ago and I never went again.
I was feeling bad for the animals the whole time.

LOL! That was fireman that called it a clamp , I saw it on TV again .
