yes, confusion is a problem, isn't it? you just supported some of the religious rights argument about the message being taught in school (and tv shows, and stuff like that).
Then they come home with a total different message from their parents. Now you see why some parents are upset with some sex education teaching? What rights does the school have to teach my kids about condom til marriage or til they are ready to have a child? When we rather treat sex education as marriage thing?
btw, in animal world, some of them have a built in mechanism to support the mother/father and children (family). And some don't. But I think we have it.
