you do but many don't. it's easy to preach about moral values but it's not easy for kids to understand the moral values on deeper level - this is something that they will eventually acquire in adulthood. How do you expect the kids/teens to understand it the way adults understand it? So you know what happened as the result? misconceptions, mistakes, and even loss of life.
