since it may come to PC this summer, and would go to Xbox later this year...or perhas next year, who knows?

Windows XP is pretty new to me, and it is possible for PCs that would work with Windows 95/98 would also work with Windows XP? One time I installed a game that works with Windows 95 into Windows XP...it got screwed up so didn't literally work so I noticed so I'm just wondering if any new games since 2001 would work with Windows XP instead of windows 95/98 etc...

just wanna know my computer better ;) thanks

Umm.... Which you are using Window XP Edition Home or Win XP PRO? If you are using Win XP Edition Home, then it wont be problem with old game verison. I do play Master of Orion 2, its for Win 98 or Win 95.. its work..

Games work on later versions but not previous versions. For instance, if you had a game that only works on Windows 98, that means it will work on Windows 98 and later versions... but not Windows 95. That make sense? From what I've heard, Windows XP does games better than previous versions of Windows. :thumb:

all righty then thanks. I'll try to get that copy when it gets released sometime this spring. :D But of course, I'm not much of a PC gamer, but I've always loved the Doom series so I'll give this one a try on PC

Same here. I prefer FPS games on PC than on consoles.

Yeah but the controller works better than the keyboard (I know there are some controllers that works on computers but honestly, I REALLY perfer 'em on consoles anyway...and yes, I am more of a console freak than any of you PC freaks!)

*kisses his Xbox* awww...how would I ever leave you? you are too loveable...*kiss kiss*

I know what you mean. I can deal with Halo on Xbox. However, there are games that are too much for the consoles... like Command & Conquer: Renegade. That's a good game for PC! :thumb:
