So now people who are already hesitant about getting hearing aids (stigma) will use this for an excuse (because they didn't read the article to see that they're talking about an internal device (CI)). *smh*Jury awards $7.25M for hearing aid that severely shocked
Ive noticed that since youve said that 2013??That happened years ago. I wonder why it keeps popping up?
And the headline is misleading.

I cannot open the link... How is it shocking? I am assuming the person implanted is being shocked?
They had some malfunctioning implants that cause shocks.
They knew it and used them anyway
Where the users warned that this could happen? What damages does shocking cause? And are they able to fix the issue?
Thank you for answering my first questions
No not warned. Are you serious what damage? Been tazered?
It was enough to knock her to the ground and cause post traumatic stress.
Kidding? no. I do not have access to the link, so had no clue how strong the shock was... As for the question of damage... Well that is what I was looking for is strength.... Electricity can cause all sorts of damages from the slight aggravation to death...
What caused it to shock her?
It had a defect that let moisture leak in and short it. It was severe shocks that cause vomiting and convulsions.
There are more suits against them for continuing to implant even though they knew of the defect.
