A must read for speed freaks!

That's why I like japanese car over american car for lighter weight and good for mpg and speed.

Most american people just think about american BIG engine for more powerful.

Yeah...it's interesting how it still runs with a unibody frame and a seat with wheels. It looks lot smaller than what it used to be.

This thread isn't about flying.....this is about cars. :P Skydiving is huge difference compared to cars, so it's comparing apple n oranges. ;) Try driving a top fuel funny car. It will go to 300 mph in 1/4 mile at under 5 seconds with between 7,000 to 8,000 hp engine with over 7,000 ft lb of torque. There is no actual power specifics as they're best estimates. It is VERY loud!

 If I still have 89' Mazda 323 and stripped it all down to barren, It would have been a fastest car but problem is that it'll spins tire on pavement without moving an inch on 1st gear cuz car's too light, Perhap starting with 2nd gear would be a Go!

Brand new 89' Mazda 323 drives just like a turbo powered car even though it had no turbo in it. There are 89' Mazda Turbo 4x4 AWD car which may beat hell out of my 323 because all 4 wheels glues to the road better than mine!!

4x4 and AWD are not same. AWD is better than 4x4 for traction.

Yes, back then it was 4X4 on Mazda Turbo 323. On 323 manual that I had included 4x4 323 instruction. It says it"s a full time 4x4 and don't have option to disable front axle. Just low and high tranaxle gear. It uses button switch to change tranaxle gear.
Instruction had warning that do not slam brake while going around the bend or else it'll send car into spin (locks up all axles).

So it tells me it's actually a AWD even though the car have big 4X4 sticker across the doors.

So make sense? I agree with you it's basically AWD.

Wow, I didn't know they had Mazda 323 with awd drive. Hmmm... It would go pretty fast if it's stripped to bare.

4x4 still suck for snow, ice, heavy rain, etc. Too easy to out of control for slam brake.

AWD is very smooth and best one ever.

Skip to 6:20. Watch whole 6:20 to 10:00 about AWD vs 4x4.

4x4 is not real all wheels due lost power.
