We all get so annoyed when we miss something spoken, and when we asked the hearing person to repeat it and they say nevermind. 
Anyways, the joke is Mitch sez he is always mumbling things that arent important. He is walking with his friend and he mumbles something to himself and his friend ask him what he said and mitch sez nevermind.
