Mr. Ferrigno,

for many years, I've enjoyed your movies and T.V. shows as they've been great entertainment. I must also say I was very proud to see you became an L.A. County Deputy Sheriff. As a retired LEO, welcome to the family.

What you do for the deaf is admirable. I am suffering from Tinitus (military service and police range activity-before gunmuffs). I've already suffered a percentage loss of my hearing and the ringing is bearly tolerable.

However, I recently learned, much to my dismay. that you are suing your family (brother Andrew and wife) over his and your late father's business name. I am shocked, to say the least!

Granted, I realize there may be some things behind this animosity that only you know. But Mr. Ferrigno, surely a big Hollywood star like yourself cannot possibly begrudge an immediate family member from trying to make an honest living. To make matters worse, Andrew's wife is suffering from stage 2 breast cancer? I'm sorry to say this to you but "Shame on you, Sir!"

Have you given any thought to how your loyal fans are going to react to this deplorable situation? Family is the most important asset we have in this life. Fame comes and goes, as does wealth, but family is forever! Please consider this before you go any further with this suit.

You've done great things with your life, the public has seen this and holds you in high esteem. You are a great role model for kids everywhere. Do you want your legacy to say to youngsters "It's OK to
settle family disputes by hurting your family by whatever means available." I would like to think you'd hold yourself above this, but sadly I've seen good people corrupted by Hollywood influences and this,
God forbid, may be what has happened to you and you just haven't noticed.

Please give this some thought. Too many famous people ruin their good reputations by making mountains out of molehills.

Fraternally,

Elden P. Laffoon, Sr.
(U.S. DoD Police Ret.)

Hollywood is a society of people that;

1) Swap wives/husbands like if they were trading cards;

2) Openly use all kinds of drugs and showing off their stoned state at events like Oscars, Grammys, Tonys, etc;

3) Play cop on and off the silver screens while on the dope;

4) Sue family members over picky things;

Hollywood is not just a big sign on a mountain, its a totally twisted culture and Lou is a part of it from the green hulk to his grave. And suing his family is far better and safer than turning green and smashing his family members into hamburger patties.

I'm not sure exactly what the entire lawsuit is over, but I do NOT believe that family is everything. Lets put it this way...I was born into a family of alcoholics and drug abusers....and was left with a life of moving from home to home in foster care. I have been living on my own since the age of 14. My 'blood' brother is a dirtbag. He is an alcoholic, as well as a crack addict. I could forgive him for that, however, he has been in jail off and on for domestic violence...and has become very violent with his (now ex) wife in the past. He may be my 'family' but I would arrest him in a heartbeat.

Family is only 'everything' if there is actually a family involved. Family is NOT forever and is NOT everything to everyone. Yes, its nice when you have a warm, caring, loving family...but not everyone is afforded a family like that. Like I said, I left at the age of 14 with the hope of making it on my own. My radio career started back when I was in high school...and I did that until I went into law enforcement. Just because they are 'family' doesn't mean they aren't jackasses.

I hate to say it, but anywhere I could. While I was still in school, I was working almost full time hours. I rented a single room in a crappy house that should have been condemned LOL....and then many places like that. At that age, I used to hang around a pretty tough crowd and I'm surprised that I didn't grow up with all kinds of problems. Many of the people I grew up with during that time are now in jail, dead, or drug addicts or alcoholics. I would probably be the last person many would think would end up becoming a cop....but I grew up on the street and it actually (in my opinion) made me a better person and made me what I am today.

Thanks for your response Taylor , It must had been hard for you but you did doing very well to become a good person.. i applause you, But i does to know not all the police officers are the good people . and hope you will contuine to be good person for long time to come ..

:)

Lou Ferrigno must be maniac. He does not own The Incredible Hulk copyright and he also does not own his brother's business icon because of his infamous name.
The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Trenton, claims the store has a green awning, portions of the interior are green, and one green wall is covered with photos of Lou Ferrigno in bodybuilding poses, as well as in his trademark green makeup for his role as the Hulk.
All he complained about is Greeeeeeen!

In answer to the questions that have been raised concerning the disclaimer put on our website concerning Lou Ferrigno, I would like to explain in the following paragraph. I Andy Ferrigno have been in the Fitness business since 1980 doing business as Ferrigno Fitness . For the first fifteen years of business I had the pleasure of working side by side with my father Matt Ferrigno . We built a great business by manufacturing quality fitness equipment at a price that people can afford. We treated every person as an individual and built a solid reputation on honesty and integrity. In 2001 after my father developed stomach cancer which later turned fatal, I moved my family out to Bethlehem Pennsylvania and closed our New York store. I now have only one location which is located in Stewartsville New Jersey which has been open since 1980 and use the same ideas that made us so successful in the past. Unfortunately we are currently being sued by Lou Ferrigno my brother for the rights to the Ferrigno name .

After my fathers death my brother Lou befriended me and my wife and I thought we could rekindle a relationship that was estranged many years earlier, He however used my friendship as a chance to attack me and my family. He levied a Law suit against us knowing full well all the facts that I outlined above. He did this knowing full well that my wife was battling stage two breast cancer. I worry about her everyday and thank the lord for every precious moment that we spend together. Currently my wife is under a great deal of anxiety and stress because of this ridiculous law suit , but I know that God will guide our path. Please read the attached article and realize that life sometimes can be a rocky road however if you stay on course you will eventually reach your goals. Thank you all for reading my story and may God bless you as he has done for me and my family.

Thank You
Andy Ferrigno

Right now we know who is Lou Ferrigno exactly...
