Hi everyone!! Last night I came across this idea to do a festive yet frugal Christmas gift idea when I was nearly done with my Christmas shopping.

I took "The Handmade Pledge" to heart and to this day I still commit to this.

PM me if you are interested in any of those sets. Remember those sets are OOAKS - One Of A Kinds :)

Those are really pretty. Have you tried putting them up for sale on craigslist too?

Thanks Jasmine for your nice compliment!

I post in Facebook and here as I share with friends. I do make OOAKs and donate to charities and Deaf organizations/clubs so they can sell for higher prices. I believe in helping others.

Those look neat, did you make these yourself?

I would, but I've already completed my Christmas shopping for this year, the rest of my money must go towards school, then to debts, then more to school, rinse and repeat....

I am hemming-hawwing about using Etsy, I don't know why.

I made those myself. I must admit I am quite crafty.

Mm.. Great idea, Mrs. Bucket. One of my hobbies is beading and I took it up this fall. I'm buying wire and tools and I plan to make money via this hobby as I love making these things and I hope to pay some of my medical bills via jewelry design. Although I'm not very skilled yet, I did take design courses and much of what I learned in graphic design is applicable to design of jewelry.

I also can see myself donating my designs to deaf clubs/orgs and breast cancer orgs as well; several members of my family have been hit by breast cancer. My mother is the only member of my family to survive breast cancer.
