A different kind of standardized test!!!!

This was interesting the way she picks out lonely/bullied kids. I like it.

My only question is what IS she doing about it? The article doesn't say.

Yeah I would love to learn about that part too.

yeah, true, about your ? Manga...i wonder..

:ty: derek, wow, I'm awed, I guess, by the thought of it, the sense of connection and responsibility that this teacher's actions imply! In middle school<7th/8th grade>, I would have been the child that teacher was looking for-

I'm on a forum for people with LD and also know a couple of retired teachers - I'd like to re-send this link to those places, derek, since you shared it, would that be ok?

I found this link from a garage sale group on Facebook. I don't mind if people shared it. The more people that know about it, the better.

I'm curious about what kind of results were found from those tests. I've not found out yet.

The teacher's method made me think of something else related to it - kind of.

Remember in gym/P.E. (physical education) where the coach would select 2 people and have those 2 people pick people to be on their teams? I would think that's another sign of lonely kids who usually are picked last.

I wish they would stop that practice. The coach should pick the teams, not the kids.

ok,:ty: derek

Manga, I also agree here...I was always, reluctantly picked last, or not at all, <amidst jeers and laughter> and the teacher would have to place me, or if it was a situation involving pairs, the teacher would end up with me.
I actually got in trouble for refusing to play volleyball in middle school gym. I didn't understand the rules or spatial aspects of the team sports and mix up Right and Left and have problems with sequence and directions. So you can probably picture it...
