My son has recently gone through substance abuse treatment for abuse of these drugs. In him, they triggered psychosis. Now he is taking meds for the psychological problems which contributed to the substance abuse. It is really frightening stuff.
One time I took him for a car-ride to keep him safe while tripping. He was certain that there was going to be a train-wreck in town at a certain time, so we drove around in the country. 
I never knew what to expect form him from one moment to the next.
