Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes debuts on the Nintendo GameCube this march.

Get prepared for another action-packed, difficult, wild, and dangerously fun adventure!

for more infomation, check at www.gamespot.com

Isn't this game actually a remake of the original Metal Gear Solid for Playstation? I saw the previews and it looks like the original but using the graphics from its sequel for Playstation 2.

I just checked the website...

It is a remake of the original. They took the graphics from Metal Gear Solid 2, and used it in the original. I've already got the original for Playstation so I don't know if I want to spend an extra $50 for the same game... that just looks better.

I imagine there may be some nifty new features and additions to it. Well, I don't have the original so I'm in luck.

What kind of new features could there be in the game. All I remember about Metal Gear Solid 2 was that the soldiers were smarter and some extra weapons were included. If they have enough good extra features, then I might buy this new one.

Steel, Thats the game my son would want.. Got to get him one when it comes out. Thanks the month it will come out *smile*!

Vamp, It's just not the improved graphics, there would be longer cut scenes, re-recorded voices, and more places with more items...it's just going to be bigger, longer, and twice the fun as the orginal. There will be a first person view that wasn't in the orginal, so that would make shooting much easier.
and you can grip on edges like in MGS2, but didn't have that in the orginal either. So, pretty much of everything from MGS2 will be in the Twins Snakes version for the GameCube.

SOLID SNAKE RULZ!!!

last time I heard about the price, they said it's only going to be $39.99 so if that's true, then it's a VERY good deal.

I have owned the orginal for PSX, and beat it so I wouldn't mind playing this masterpiece from my master, Hideo Kojima all over again...

heh steel but I worshipped Kazunori Yamauchi (the Gran Turismo Series) than I did for Kojima after I played MGS2 and GT3A-Spec.

Right now I'm  Sausage from Bizarre Creations because his PGR2 (Project Gotham Racing 2) made me more addicted to the xbox than PS2.

But I have a feeling and cross fingers to buy MGS Twin Snakes if it came to the xbox but I see that as a long shot.

It's proably doubtful that MGS: Twin Snakes would come to the Xbox but I heard that this game would come as a bundle with the GC if you ever plan to buy it (you already have GC, dont you? well then it would be just great to get one this year :) )

anyway, I hear more news on this game...and said that Mario would make an appearance in this action packed thriller game! well sort of...

VamPyroX, MGS:The twin snakes for GC only.. That game costs $39.99 dollars. This game has an additional stuffs such as, new levels, new weapons, MSG2's style and gameplay, new scenes, and etc..

I've bought that game yesterday, so I've played it tonight and stopped at the part when I recused Donald Anderson and then some female prisoner escaped...etc

I just gotta say, the cinemas and gameplay were very stylin' and does get me very much into the metal gear universe. This remake of the orginal is very entertaining and fun to play so it was a GREAT deal that they priced this game for 40 dollars so it was pretty easy to use my allowance and grab it lol

Everything in this game is a HUGE improvement and I love it MUCH more than the orginal Playstation version. superb graphics, gameplay, and style are ALL from the styles of Metal Gear Solid 2 (Playstation 2/Xbox) Expect one thing that didn't change is the codec communicatioin...of course, they still use the same graphics of two people communicating through codec from the Playstation version so it's not too bad anyway... so the cutscense are longer, and the voices are re-recorded, and graphics are just an eye-catcher. I am definetly glad that I own the Nintendo GameCube for this masterpiece by the maker that I worship over, Hideo Kojima, who has produced this game with Silion Knights. (who bought us Eternal Darkness) For anyone who owns the GameCube, it's a must buy and it will be ALWAYS be a classic. :)

So I can't wait for Metal Gear Solid 3 coming to Playstation 2 this November. :P

Solid Snake rulz!!!

Well I've finally beat this game today. :)

It was really neat...but kinda sad at the end :(

when someone dies, life just continues.

So this game was really good and I think the storyline is better than MSG2's storyline. Proably better villains and better allies than the sequel did.

Alot of cutscenes were hiralous too...but I'm not gonna spoil it...you are gonna have to see that for yourself, if you own a gamecube that is.

GameCube owners, if you think you rather skip this one, you just lost your mind.

LONG LIVE THE SNAKE!!!

I've already lost my mind cuz I aint got a GCN on me :P

Hell, MGS2 (the original) was enough to drive me batty
