There was talk over the years about certain countries who don't enforce a legal drinking age. The idealogy behind that was if people (actually children, if you look at their ages) started early, they would develop wisdom and accustomability (sp?), and not abuse it the way people who must wait until they're 21 do and get all hyped up about it and go get plastered on their 21st birthday, and thereon. Not sure I agree with that ideology, but it kind of makes sense in some ways. Anyways, I'm curious if the idea behind the bill about allowing 18-19-20's to go with their parents is intended the same way - they're legally adults, but having to hang out with parents makes them be a little bit more responsible about it. JMHO.
