2 dead (not including the gunman); 5 injured at Maryland mall shooting

This is only 20 minutes from my house. I go shopping at that mall often. Yesterday was very upsetting and I was texting several people to inform them since I know several people who tend to go to Columbia Mall on the weekends.
 
Starting to get tired of listening to insane people shooting randomly in public places.

Literally isn't safe to go out anymore. Next, random shootings at work.
 
As far as I know it wasn't random. It was a targeted killing of an ex lover and her new one.
Last I read anyway

Those two who were killed were working at their jobs at the time of shootings. Random shootings at workplaces have already happened. That's how the term "going postal" was originated.

I have heard several postal workers decided to shoot at workplace and shoot themselves during 80's. That is why they (Post office) strictly prohibit any employee from bring firearms to work, even on property.

Those postal shootings weren't random
Random is when you decide to pick up your gun and go kill whoever you want. Wher ever you want
Most of those postal shootings were done by guys who worked there against people they perceived deserved it or just happened to be there
That's not random
The mall shooting isn't random either.
There have been random shootings sure but most shootings like this are not in that category.

Has there been a history of random shooting at the workplace? Well, the Newtown massacre happened at a workplace and it was random.

I guess it doesn't matter...lives were lost for no reason.

A disgruntled lover killing his ex and her love doesn't add up to random
A disgruntled employee at the post office killing his boss, or other co workers doesn't add up to random
Ect
Don't mean to quibble. But random actually means something and so far as in know this mall shooting does not add up to random

Of course...if is definitely a disgruntled lover of that lady who was killed, then no, it wasn't random.

I just still cant believe it happened at the mall in my community. Just made the gun violence that has been happening more real now.
 
Blame at gun control advocates. They are there to take guns away from good citizens intended to keep state under control and ignoring crooks having firearms either legally or illegally.

Gun control advocates ignore crooks having firearms? That's odd, from my understanding because of them, background checks were implemented to prevent crooks purchasing firearms.

Do you have source to support your claim about state of Maryland take guns away from good citizens?

Yes, I think Maryland has strict background check.

Unfortunately, it will not prevent those events, even there is pro-gun or anti-gun laws.

People that do things such as this...make my blood boil!...Cowards...and cannot get a grip,...jealousy....

No, the no-firearms policy has always been there even before the 80s. The guys who were shooting were former employees. They got in when employees (who didn't know that those shooters were fired) got in at the employee entrance.
