12 human foods not for dogs.....please read it can save your dogs life...

my dog loves chocolate! ... he once found and ate 2 full-size chocolate bars. fortunately, he didn't get sick, though I kept checking on him all night and the next day. I now keep my sweets/chocolates hidden so he can't get into them. but he will try to steal a cookie or whatever he can find. stinker.

yes, dog loves chocolate no joke, also you can actually buy dog-safe chocolate treats at pet supply shops, even at supermarkets....
much safer its small nibbles which doubles as 'treats' for those 'treat-reward" training...

cheers

Grummer.....Thank's for posting this. There are a few of those I did not know about. Also a great reminder to be safe with all the food around during the holiday's.

My daughters dog jumped up on her kitchen table and ate about 1/2 a bar of dark chocolate. Her boyfriend at the time had left it there. She immediately took her dog to the vet where they gave him a shot to induce vommiting. After a few hours they gave him another shot to stop the nausea and sent him home. Took poor Murphy about a week to feel better.

Ironic when I've asked people sbout giving things on that list to dogs, kept getting the same answer "It isn't going to hurt them."

Bet they're wondering where those symptoms are coming from and attribute it to bad dog food, something in the water, etc.!

I was out with my daughter and hearing dog and we got talking to a woman and she was telling us she feed her food a lot of veggies and my daughter told her to be sure it safe to feed to your dog. The woman said then why didn't my vet say something to me. My daughter asked if her vet know she is feeding her dog veggies and the woman said "NO!" WTF! My daughter and I  and told the woman if your vet does not know this how can tell you it bad for your dog?? I know just what you mean, I met one of those people.
