No surprise about Alabama, I believe that violent crime is strongly related to socioeconomic and worst education system.

Virginia is gun-friendly state and violent crime is much lower than most southern states.

Alaska...interesting....
In canada, the more north you go, the rougher snd i mean rougher it gets...
I loved thr north thiugh but its a country a part up thst way, also due to some strange unknown force, the more north you get, the less people move their lips when they talk...
Weird...

Surprised Florida is not somewhere in the 10....especially my city of Jacksonville.

I wonder what would happen to the statistics if they removed suicide from the list....that should not be considered gun violence...

Yeah it muddies the nunbers....

What does that do with gun violence , my state is called Taxachusetts for a reason.

Your state doesn't have serious socioeconomic problem as southern states, if you come down to Alabama, Mississippi or Louisiana so you will find living is subpar when compare to your state.

Bad socioeconomic = more gun violence.

Be glad - tax in your state is lower than European countries and Canada.
