That's what I have been told. Guess I don't know then. I have only been told by a doctor.... Now do I feel silly

I know its a hole in the ear drum. The continues ringing.

I have been checked out by a doctor. He said because of the continues ringing I have it.

I have learned that I will be going deaf in a few years. Since I already have tinnitus, my doctor will think I am going deaf around 30 or 31. At 17 and learning I am going to lose it around then, is not something I want to think about.

I am new at it too. I would like to practice with you too

Thank you. I have talked with my family about it, but they don't see how this would do anything. There point of view is, I am not deaf yet so there is no reason to change the family

Its hard for me to be with a hearing guy because he doesn't understand what's going on with me. He thinks I am crazy for saying that I am going deaf when he knows that I have a really bad hearing problem. He thinks this is a joke. Has anyone else had a problem like this?
