I've been getting these ear aches in my good ear, and both ears occasionally, that can be painful some times. Occasionally, they follow with tenninitis. I remember that I used to get them every few days, and sometimes daily at around the same time. I don't get them as much anymore, but now...

Well, I was born HOH, and I like it...I wouldn't want to be more hearing than I already am. Even though there are times when I wish I was, I like the feeling of being able to ignore people's conversations and society has given me a perfectly acceptable excuse so they can leave me alone. :D

I get it quite often. I don't know why, but it suddenly hits me and then goes away.

Hmmmm...never really thought about that... But, after reading a few, I got some good ones. Being deaf in only one ear, I can put my bad ear to the people who talk too much, and just pretend to hear what they're saying. I get to miss out on the horrendously boring conversations. Tune out...

I always have to have people repeat things, and after a while they get sick of repeating it, so they just say "oh, nevermind" and i NEVER end up finding out what they said. Everyone does this to me...even the ppl who know I'm deaf!! That makes me soo mad.....grr...

Well, I don't quite know about it at the moment...I think i'm about to get myself into one. The only thing that I have a problem with is the loneliness, that you never get to hug or kiss the person you are talking to. It takes patience, I figure. But otherwise, I love the idea of it.
