CHARGE association is similar to having a syndrome. But, it is classified as an association, because the birth defects can show up different groupings (associations), that a person cannot tell how each CHARGE'r will develop. CHARGE is an acronym. Each letter stands for a different birth defect.

I have heard there is a member who is a parent of a CHARGE child. I am new to all deaf, and have an 8 month old with CHARGE. I am interested in talking.
