How long do you think it will be before it will be at least 5 years before something "new" re hearing aids will have emerged - and would you change yours to the last "new thing" straight away if this happened?
Which famous hearing aid/s wearers would you like to meet to talk to, and why.... or which famous hearing aid/s wearer/s have you already met and spoken to?
To the members of this url who have had one... what was it like? Someone I know HATED it, largely because she was seeing a different audiologist to who she usually sees, and the audiologist was playing the bleeps far too loud and only changed things when doing it in her other ear.
Next time you change your hearing aid/s, have you read anything about any that you will ask your audiologist if you are suitable for them or ask him or her about? What is the difference to what you currently use?
If you are currently wearing one hearing aid, but you used to wear two, or vice versa, how long were you wearing "the other number", and why did you change? Was the make of hearing aid/s also different, and what were they?
Even if your hearing loss made this impossible, would you DEFINITELY want to wear a different kind of hearing aid from what you are currently using... and why?
When you saw a news anchor's/presenter's earpiece for the very first time, did you think he or she was wearing a hearing aid - and what convinced you that it wasn't one? Were you disappointed to find out?
Would you - or have you done so already - use your hearing aids as a topic for "show and tell" at school, and what sort of reaction did you get, if you have done it already?
Only answer this if you have had both male and female audiologists... Did you have one particular favourite and were they male or female, and was your least favourite male or female - and in both cases, why?
