I wear digital - Senso Diva to be excact. I have sensoneuial hearing loss as well. Everytime i get sick and go on antibiotics my hearing gets worse, especially in my left ear. Oh well. I've had mine since 2000, i probably have to get new ones soon.

I'm HOH but i hate that term so i say deaf. I hate the term "hearing impaired" too - it sounds like i'm mentally handicapped or something worse.

Erm....well actually, well i've never lost mine, but one time i wore them in the shower. I couldn't figure out why i could hear the water and where i'd put them. It wasn't until i put my hands in my hair that i felt them. I ripped them out of my ears and threw them on to a far away carpet.

Don't worry about it. If anything, you do hear them you just don't know how to recognize them. It takes a while for your brain to process stuff like that, especially if you havent' heard it in eons. Myself, i still have trouble finding the source of sounds - they always seem to be coming from...
