There's still alot of misinformation against stem cells. Adult and cord blood stem cells never cause tumors(you won't find a single case) they are safer than any surgery/medicine out there. The questions you guys ask have been answered in my blog(link in sig)

Agreed! CI is not a cure, stem cells is better in everyway. The CI hype is already dying down, everywhere I go, there's blogs and forums of people talking about stem cells for their hearing loss or their friend/family's hearing loss.

Why are the other 50% not approved? How do we know that they can't benefit from stem cells unless they have a badly damaged or missing cochlea and/or auditory nerve? How is "significant improvements" defined in terms of decibals? If we include those who get a small, but measurable improvement...
