I realize I’m replying to a year-old post, but I’m wondering if being able to stimulate 4 electrodes at a time as AB does would help with listening to chords in music. Can anyone speak to that?

I took a couple of ASL classes too, 2 ten-week classes. Enjoyed it very much but then covid came along and the classes had to stop for everyone. Ran into my former instructor at the HLAA convention in Tampa; fun to see him again.

Of course if it’s an online cooking show or demonstration, not just a recipe, then I need to have captions.

The only issue for me is maybe not hearing the timer beep on the stove to tell me something is done. I have two solutions for that. The easiest one is to tell Siri to set an alarm on my Apple Watch, so it buzzes when something is done. Or I use a portable timer and watch that. Other than that...

True, but quite often with a lot of fertility assistance. It would be a serious mistake to think it's all that easy naturally at that age. Not impossible, of course, but realistically, not something you could count on without being prepared for intervention methods.

Generally no. I can hear it when I first put them in, in the morning, as I twist them into place. But later in the day if one mold works a bit loose and has a very faint whistle or feedback, that I can't hear. Or sometimes I hear it vaguely, but don't realize it's me making that noise.
