    Brin... I think you need to talk to instructor... I know it can be intimidating but for anything to improve you must talk to him. Be truthful, tell him how you feel. Good Luck

    I will let you know... I fly there april 24th and arrive at 9:30am, I have my ASLPI at 11:15am... it will be a stressful day but I can handle it :) The woman I work with (Deaf) said I will make it, no problem lol.

    I voted YES!! WHY? .... Well I am hearing and having my Terp screening weekend next month. I find that since I have been immersed in the Deaf culture for the last year... I have to watch myself amongst my hearing friends... Hearing people are over sensitive! Hearing culture sugar coats...

    I am only speaking on what I have witnessed... Interpreters stick together... At every lecture I go to... all 5-10 interpreters (not terping the lecture) sit together.

    well think about it... they are part of the hearing culture and a visitor in the Deaf Culture... both cultures are very different so they mesh to an interpreter culture..

    you have to remember that it is a Different Culture... Different rules... Interpreters have their own Culture too.
