:ty: sometimes I read descriptions and they are so hard to follow/understand. I am always worried about my descriptions :giggle:

This is what I was taught at well. I was also told that if you fingerspell it, start at your chest and move the hand as you spell in the direction of the person you are emailing. and if you want the person to email you, you start fingerspelling away from you and move your hand closer to you...

Welcome to the boards, how did you become an interpreter so young? Do you have a deaf relative or did you take up ASL in school?? I want to enter the program but cant until next year

What kind of final is this? If you are an ASL student, shouldnt you be tested on your sign skill, expressinve and receptive? Sounds like an odd final

Congrats, that is very exciting! I have one more math class to go then I get my degree in education :) I finish in August

i was thinking about making a salad with cheese cubes in it. I dont know why I am craving that.

If the deaf person was involved in the situation I would sign, no questions asked. If there was a conversation with myself, a deaf friend, and another hearing person who does not sign, I would try to interpret the conversation to the best of my abilities.
