I know two of my friends who have LD. Though I think they're not quite as bad. I think we're awesome people because we're always learning to adapt with whatever issues we have.

My nephews & niece dressed up so cute. One (6 yr old) dressed up as a Knight, completed with helmet and a sword. Other (11 mo old) dressed up as a Frog. My niece (3 yr old) dressed up as a Ladybug.

Actually it is not a job. It is just a volunteering work, something for me to do during my slow life. It is quite fun and easy to do with those 14 cats. Lot easier than taking care of um who knows how many dogs they have. :shock:

She posted it back in 2003. I do not think she is still around on AllDeaf to answer your question. I do not remember seeing her here.

I know this is an old thread, created back in 2003. I wanted to reply in this thread to say that my boyfriend is deaf. And I am curious to see if anything changed with you guys since 2003. Any of you got married? Still single? Change of relationship?

26 & Deaf We're human and we all like to interact with people and flirt, too. If I had a guy who gave me that note, I would be excited because hey he likes me. I wouldn't think a guy would try to take advantage of me due to deafness, unless he's treating me like I couldn't take care of myself...

I had a wonderful morning. I saw BEAUTIFUL landscape view as I drove to Animal Shelter to take care of 14 cats. Green land, autumn color trees, morning sun, plus misty fog! Couldn't get better than that! Now I'm back home to clean up the bedroom and bathroom and everything else that are needed...
