Always, always use quotation marks as long as the speaker is speaking or signs. Or otherwise, without quotation marks is stating is what a speaker is thinking himself/herself... Always use itlatic for a character's thoughts or a character is writing down something with out quotation marks...

maybe you were referring to SEE, Sign with Excat English??? I don't think there was ever excat English in ASL. It is pretty tough to write ASL in your writing, bec I had to be very, very careful not to mix with ASL and SEE between two characters...It is a very trick game, I warn ya...

Oh please do. It is a great idea to do that. Because for an example I have read Stephen King's The Stand. He didn't do a good job describing a deaf and mute character in the story. I felt he should do better than that. :laugh2: The Stand is still an excellent book, but I felt he should do better...

I don't mind the friends' status. It is fun to see what my friends are up to. And it is almost like reading a newspaper everyday :D And I love Facebook because you can find your old friends from grade schools even when you were 5 years old. I found my three old classmates :D
