Hi, Just started skype -- I'd like to practice. I have about one year of ASL use under my belt, so let's say I'm an advanced newbie :) I'm not fluent, but can converse fairly well. I think I'm facebook:sherrydeanne maybe? I sign better than I use technology, I promise.

I sometimes mouth to stress words, seems to be automatic when I emphasize, like if I sign 'amazing' I mouth how I would say it, like a MAAAAAAAAAAAZ ing. Honestly though I think it depends what I'm signing and to who, it sort of goes on and off.

I'm in Fitchburg -- are you close? There's a sizable Deaf community in Boston (so I've been told) but it's a tad far for me to go regularly.

I have one between my shoulder blades. It's a blue sun-like thing with my name in Hebrew written inside. I keep thinking about getting it changed but since I can't see it, it doesn't bother me.

My cats are outdoor cats and regularly 'gift' me with animals, but they don't get near the chickens. For one, the chickens are bigger than they are ;) and two, the chickens scare the cats. If there was a small bird flying around my house ,the cats would go after it but they know the chickens...
