There will always be human error, and psychologists will make mistakes. However, this is why psychologists/therapists go to school for MANY years - they are trained professionals.
Aw =(
That's how I deal with abuse and stuff. I talk about it. For me,when I talk about it, it isn't so scary. Though it makes others uncomfortable when I say "yeah, I saw my dad break my sisters arm" because lol, wtf do you say to that?
That's why it's good to see a professional. Someone who grew up surrounded by domestic violence may not develop PTSD, for whatever reason, but another individual in the same environment does.
People are so annoying. I learned about why people may disregard mental illness in my social psychology class - an individual will blame a victim/survivor because they don't want to think that something may happen to them & they will develop PTSD.
Yes. What gave my therapist the clue that I had PTSD was when I told her I still had dreams about my dad beating up my mom and dragging her into a closet and yelling at him to stop. I was 3 years old when that happened, definately not normal!
Your behavior is very typical of someone who is married to their drug.
I have friends who smoke weed all the time, and they have never claimed the same outrageous facts you have.
A person who uses drugs is getting really defensive (as drug users usually do). It doesn't bother me, it just goes to show how using drugs can make you incredibly selfish.
****I have plenty of friends who smoke weed, and do not drive. I have no problem with that.
