    I had 2 Phonak FM rec. on my sonics (using an adap kit :roll:) and they really took the batteries down. Now using 1 FM rec. in my iCom and it takes the iCom down in about 10 hrs.

    If yours is the UP model, which require the 675 battery, it may cut out when the battery gets low. Mine do. I have started using the 675 for the CI and get about 7-8 days before my HA's start to cut out or do other wierd things. Have never heard the low battery alarm.

    You can get them from the VA but you have to qualify.

    Phonak Naida

    Tried it, liked it Last week my audi and Phonak rep had me try the 9 - for just one hour -. Not much time to realy tell. So I signed up for a thirty day trial, will get mine next week. I am just shy of be eligable for CI. I dont' think I want to go that way at my age (75+). I got to try...
