    For me, same. Always relate word to something visual so can remember. Foreign languages come *very* easy for me. Can *do* English but lazy here at AD because among friends and no 'grammar' check.:giggle: But easily speak, write and read Spanish, same with English, read and write French...

    Good point. Boyfriend tell me that with band one time and they rehearse for evening show. Lead singer do "ILY" sign and say it mean 'rock on.' Boyfriend correct him on what meaning really is. Lead singer do not do that sign anymore. :giggle:

    Think daughter is audist...

    I think because grown up with hearie family this make difference. Nobody deaf in my family either so always look for visual cues to understand what everyone say. Need to survive so figure it all out. I lip read but it is very fast. Probably 99% of hearies have never even notice I do this...
