Agree. Until first grandson born on, uh, 14th December, only have nephew born 17th December. Now, eldest daughter have c-section 23rd December. Horrible for all three to have birthday close to holiday. Is why I do "Birthday Month."

In a few short days will be 1 year for me and I cannot express how thankful I am to have found AD and all the regular poster who have *SO* much insight to make me think about how I feel. Only site belong to where I inspired to think about how I feel about me and my identity. :hug:

Not me. April 1st and it is *ALL* about me right to the bitter end of month! Just angry my birthday month only have 30 days. Son and 2nd daughter get 31 days. :laugh2: Third daughter born February and eldest daughter born same birthday month as me.

Realize never 100% Deaf like you but when finally hear sounds, with HAs, about 12-14 years ago, was amazing at first but find life *VERY* loud. Annoying and hurt ears. Prefer life as is. Yes, present communication challenge but I would not trade that challenge for anything of who I am today. :)

My "Birthday Month" only come once a year and I celebrate every single day. This way not disappoint when actual birthdate arrive because already celebrate all month. My kids *love* their "Birthday Month" because every single day is celebration that they come into my life and me into theirs.
