Dash cam draws the vehicle battery around 100mA (mA=milliamperes) or less. Sound good for your car. Does your car have an auxiliary power socket?

Wow. Some modern vehicles have 12v plug sockets (auxiliary plug socket) that can be hot live wire with ignition switch off. I don't know how much does the dash camera draw electric from battery when the vehicle sit overnight. Maybe I take a look at the dash camera's current (draw) spec later...
