I look up labor time for water pump replacement, says 1.5 hour, shop labor rate is $100 a hour. Labor is $150 plus parts etc...but service managers or technicians can be free time to overcharge customers like $200 to $300 for labor alone, that's normal. When I was a young brilliant mechanic...

Camshaft position (CMP) sensor is bolted to the front/top of the right cylinder head. Crankshaft position (CKP) sensor is mounted into the right rear side of the engine block. Maybe you take a look at the harness wirings at CKP sensor or CMP sensor to see if this harness wirings may loose or...

    Dodge Durango electrical issue

Check oil level. Does your vehicle came with oil pressure gauge in the dash? If so, observe oil pressure gauge when you maneuver as you mentioned to see if oil pressure drops or stays steady oil pressure. It may cause code P0016. Does this vehicle run low fuel in tank? I know your vehicle have...

Your truck is OBD-II, agree w/ your guys pinpoint faulty fuel pump. Also replace a new fuel filter along with new fuel pump assembly... I believe your truck have codes stored in PCM as history codes/ pending codes with no Service Engine Soon light because you says Straight Piped.
