truth is, unless you got all those hours squezed together into few days flying time, you'll most likely need about 60~80 hours 30~40 Hours dual, and 30~40 hours solo, The FAA written test you just need to get 70 or btter and passed test within last 12 months, the FAA check ride is two parts...

3,500 miles? rip off.. check your owners manual to see what they recommed... my 2005 Jetta TDI gets its oil changed every 10,000 miles per manual the jiffy lube / grease monkey quick lubes want you to think they need be changed every 3000 miles = more profits for them. oils have improved...

diesel is made differently from crude oil....demand for deisel has increased greatly but refinery capacity hasn't increased in last 30 years at least law of supply & demand.

last I heard.... they used to use vegetable oil in aircraft brakes,(yea they used too..) but later changed to mineral oil / and later skydrol..which they still use today,....diesels can run vegetable oil as fuel no problems... but I think vegetable oil is too thin to be used cool / lubricate...

I have had the Oticon SUMO DM too..worked well... I liked them I have the Seimens digital Centra now very good like it much better than the SUMO DM sound quality is better etc. plus they come with two year warrentty instead of single year for the Oticon SUMO's. but I don't really care as...
