Mother-in-law sends worst email ever to bride: forgivable?

Oh lord. This is the second horrible MIL story I've heard this week. The other one was on Maury where the lady told her blind son that she thought his girlfriend's baby wasn't his because it didn't look like him and he couldn't see the baby. They did a DNA test and the baby WAS his son. I...

    Best city for Deaf people?

I am about to graduate with my degree in ASL Interpreting. I definitely want to move away from where I currently live in Kentucky. I am a Southern girl, so I don't want to move up where it's absolutely frigid cold, like Rochester. In your experience, what is the best Deaf-friendly city and why?

I'm glad that I can dedicate my future career to doing something that will help Deafies gain what they truly want! :) I actually considered photojournalism... in a prior life. :D

    Hearing women dating deaf/HoH men

I find this very, very interesting. Then again, I wouldn't mind dating a Deaf man. I don't see Deafness as a disability at all... in fact, I think Deafness can actually be considered an Ability... since Deafies don't spend all of their time talking over people and are able to pick up on more...

Oh, I know that much! I think having the ASL background and being part of the Deaf community is going to help me out in that field. If I go into speech therapy, it's going to be to help bridge the communication gap between Hearies and Deafies. I don't think Deafies should have to learn how to...

LoL, my next ones will be clear. :) This was just for fun this time around. :P I find it very interesting how genetics plays a role in congenital deafness, especially with the dominant and recessive genes and such. I considered being an audiologist -- too much school! I think I'm going to...

Haha, if I didn't wear contacts, I would be blind. I'm really close to being legally blind without my contacts... I can't see anything. :( But thank you very much! I think it is interesting, too! Did the little boy have hearing loss?

Haha, I have a patch of white hair, light blue eyes, and have only mild hearing loss in my right ear... which I didn't even know I had until a couple of years ago. I didn't know there was a thing called Waarenburg Syndrome, but it is very interesting. But I get the Rogue jokes, too! All the...
