request list of current working vrs possible?

Just as a side note, In the last few days Sorenson announced that they have filed for bankruptcy. I don't know if its chapter seven ("good bye we are done") or chapter 14 (restructure their debt and continue to do business). It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

NexTalk is Introducing SimpliciTTY Access, FREE TTY software

Great question. When a new user wants to sign up, they cannot do so by just simply going to a "sign-up screen" and create an account like you can do on FaceBook. The user downloads a program, which once it is installed on their computer, needs to be activated. The user must then contact...

NexTalk is Introducing SimpliciTTY Access, FREE TTY software

snallga, If you have an account on the UR Relay program NexTalk.net and are asking if we can recover your credentials (name and password) from them, the answer is no. That is a different program from a different company. I realize their software name (NexTalk.net) is very close to our...

NexTalk is Introducing SimpliciTTY Access, FREE TTY software

NexTalk gets phone numbers from our telephone provider. These numbers are registered to us, which we in turn assign to a NexTalk software user when they sign up. They are real numbers. Did that answer your question or did I misunderstand? Thanks Gary

I think this is Semantics. We are issued real numbers from our telco provider. These numbers are then provided to the SimpliciTTY software user. The user can either use that number, or if they already have a TDN that was issued by somebody else, we can forward their existing number to the...

Biker, Because NexTalk is not a relay company, we can not work with Nuestar. Our software program has built-in verification tests to ensure that the caller is using a TTY device. Further, we have filters that allow us a variety of blocking functions, including "large-net" filters like place...

NexTalk is Introducing SimpliciTTY Access, FREE TTY software

As long as both you and your friend are using the SimpliciTTY software, then you could have a relay-free conversation. The SimpliciTTY Access program will not include Relay capabilities in it's initial configuration. As has been mentioned, due too fraud and abuse, the FCC has really clamped...

NexTalk is Introducing SimpliciTTY Access, FREE TTY software

Biker, I got further clarification on what we call a "proxy" number. When a client or user signs up for a SimpiciTTY account, we issue them a number. We get that number from our telco provider. We have been doing this for over 20 years and have never had a complaint about calls not being...

qwerty123, I will have to ask my software engineers on this one. I may have misunderstood your question. We have been issuing numbers to our commercial clients for over 20 years and never had an issue. Ill get back to you with an answer. Thanks Gary

Jane, Initially SimpliciTTY Access will not have "traditional" VCO functionality. It is something we are working on as an update to the software in the future. But I understand your need. My father-in-law lost his hearing as a result of working around jet fighters all his life. He can...

NexTalk is Introducing SimpliciTTY Access, FREE TTY software

qwerty, SimpliciTTY uses proxy numbers that are assigned to our servers and trunk. When a deaf individual signs up for SimpliciTTY Access, we will provide them with a number. The individual can either use the number we provide or, if they already have a number, we can forward their existing...

NexTalk is Introducing SimpliciTTY Access, FREE TTY software

snallga, Your existing ten digit number will work with SimpliciTTY Access. SimpliciTTY Access also has a phone book feature that allows you to associate contact names with their TDN. So when you go to place a TTY call, you can place it by either typing in their name, or typing in the TDN...

Qwerty123, The technology is far from obsolete. NexTalk, Inc. started providing communication tools for the deaf back in 1990. The company (which was called NXi communications back then), introduced a modem-based solution. To this day, 24 years later, we still have people contact us and...
