Well, tomorrow is activation day,woo hoo,so excited,and so nervous!! The insision is still a little tender at the very top but the rest is fine,have been getting the feeling back on the top of my ear and all it feels kinda funny! We drive down to birmingham,al today and activation is 8am!! Ohh...

I had no drainage at all after mine,so nit sure what is supposed to be normal, but i can say this if mine were draining like that i would have been on the phone to the doctor real quick like, cause that would have freaked me out! They told me i might have some leakage the day after but anything...

I really hope you canwork your way through this,there are so many tools out there to help you be whatever, or whoever you want. We really do need more hoh,or deaf doctors and nurses for sure,a lot of them do not have any patience,and are not very kind to us, I and I know a lot of people here...

You do? Guess its different having a removal than having the implant? Goodness thats rough and for that long. I remember when i had my mastoidectomy,it drained a little for maybe a day or 2 then went to my doc and he pulled the draining tube out,i thought i would be sick!:barf:

Yep just found that out a few hrs ago,and who do i have? yep sprint of course. I also found something else out with innocaption,it will transcribe voicemail that is left on your regular number,if you can disable call waiting,guess what cant disable that on sprint,just my luck!

I definetly,positively would,yes. I miss out on so much,my grandkids talking, the sounds of being outside, hearing birds, crickets, thunder,the waves at the beach!!! I wasnt born deaf,i am now so i miss all the things,sounds,and being able to talk on the phone all of it!!
