    Try to contact Colorado DVR (Department of Vocational Rehabilitation) and see if they have any resources to help pay for your hearing aids. I was in Denver years ago and I remember them paying for hearing tests and hearing aids. Medicaid won't pay for ha here in Washington either.

    I have been profoundly deaf since 1992 (born hearing, lost my hearing in the military) and I always welcome sign language even if the signer is just learning. I would see it as the other person doing what they can to communicate with me and that is always welcomed.

    I just got my Nucleus 7 processor activated two days ago and I love it! Rechargeable batteries are a huge plus!

    I use Linux. I started out with Debian GNU/Linux in 2001. I spent a few years distro-hopping and am on Linux Mint today. I'm currently learning how to write my own apps in Python 3.
