What is the one thing which would make the biggest difference in the quality of your life?
A devise that vibrates with sound that would help with road crossings. I used to have such a device but they stopped making it. Too many people opt for CI"s instead.- vegandreamer

We do Euthanise our pets. I have had to let go of several of my pets but there are times when I have refused to Euthanise an animal who just had hind leg paralyses and a mild case of Myco (chest infection) but was otherwise doing ok. I’m late deafened and find myself not being able to identify with either hearing or deaf world. Anyone else feel the same? Trying to find my place.
That's a shame because deafened adults seem to benefit more from CI then kids who can't always say when the machine goes faulty and didn't decide to have a CI in the first place.
