You would have to contact Anthem directly to find out if they cover implants and if they do, what their criteria is. Each insurance plans have their own criterias and not all plans will cover the implants.

I have never tried bluetoothing my compilot with anything, but I use the direct connect cable between compilot and ipod, and that works really well for me.

Definitely couldn't hurt to have your audiologist ask for an AB rep to be available at your next appointment to try to help eliminate this buzzing sound. I have AB too and never had this problem. Are you registered with http://www.hearingjourney.com/forum/ ? That is the AB sponsored forums...

Contact your audiologist and get some new programmings. Let him/her know about the buzzing you've been experiencing. Which implant did you get? I've not once had a buzzing with either of my implants.

Condor, it depends on the clinic. I was activated about 2 weeks after surgery both times, while other clinics will have their clients wait 4-6 weeks. Hope your daughter's recovery is going smoothly and that she has an awesome activation! :)
