I had an Oticon Gaia in the past too! (might wanna check out the OPNs too, I'm gonna ask next appt though since hearing aid on my right is from '14) *yeah, my Gaia doesn't have a volume switch so you should keep that feature in mind too* as for Siemens, had one as a baby with no issues!

for mine, it was my mother's smoking during her pregnancy *that stuff can damage a baby's auditory nerves so that's why mine is a little bit fucked*

my mom is where you are! (hearing aids helps but we'll see what's up since her 1st testing in '14)
