I read where California will have the highest gas prices in the nation!...Feel bad for ya all...anyway...my city the gas is $2.43, some a little lower....some a few cents higher...depends upon where or the gas station you go to.

Feel it's a shame that Medicare/Medicaid and Insurance companies will not pay for this service for the elderly (even those who are hearing) who are on fixed incomes and live alone...Even ILRC (Independent Living Resource Center) was no help...

That's 1 good solution...but there are those who cannot afford Smart Phones.

Those Life Alert TV ads....for the elderly. ...I was "wondering" about us elderly deafies?...who cannot speak or hear...would it be feasible to order one?...Or is there anything else we could use to alert and call for help in case we have fallen and of course "can't get up"?....Many elderly...

Why not just make a Police report for simple assault and Harassment?...if reporting it to the Manager does not suffix?...Contacting the ADA or the Governor?...Nah!...Only your feelings were hurt?...No bodily injury?...Feel sure the Police Officer would get all this squared away.

Meals on Wheels?...LOL...if you have the ability to go out to eat, then you can cook at home. Besides, there is a long waiting list for that, (at least in my County there is)…..Perhaps the lady did not "mean to" throw the food?...Maybe you over-reacted?...Complain too much?...So..."maybe this...

Report it to the management...if you have a witness(s)...good!...and still, I would not go back there....if they don't fire the person that did this...no telling what she might do later on......
